Upgrading the Comp
Ok so I'm upgrading my PC next week. I've bought two components online to help out. 1st is a new ATI Radeon X800 PRO AGP 8X 256MB DDR video card. This sucker is the best video card out there as far as I am concerned. 2nd is the best CPU that my current motherboard supports, the Athlon XP 3000+ (333MHz FSB, model 10, Barton).
The video card set me back about 400 (WHEW) but it is worth it as if I UBER upgrade (read: get a whole new machine) I can put this bad boy in said new machine. The CPU only cost be about 100 and is only a 2.4ghz Athlon, but its the best my motherboard can support and is better than my current 1.5ghz Athon XP 1800+
